House Rules

1.    We value the safety and privacy of all our Guests and to ensure this, no person that is not checked in at SomerZicht Guest House can use the premises or facilities at any time. No parties will be allowed on the premises.

2.    Any Guest House is by nature not a large area, and we must live in close proximity to each other. As everyone lives their life to a different beat, we ask that you consider others who might already be asleep when returning from a fantastic night out.

Please also consider other Guests when talking, watching Television, listening to music, or speaking on the phone, etc. We kindly request that Guests do not talk on speakerphone when on the premises.

We request that Guests always behave in a manner conducive to the safety, peace, and comfort of other Guests at all times. 

3.    Check-in time is between 14H00 and 20H00 and check-out time is up to 10H30. If you booked with a breakfast option, it is served from 8H30 to 10H00.

4.    Guests booked into the self-catering units are welcome to use the braai/BBQ facilities. Please consider the other Guests when using this facility as well as the pool. For this reason, we request that you do not use the braai/BBQ facilities later than 21H30. For Guests booked into the B&B side, there is unfortunately no self-catering facilities available.

5.    Please note that we are a NON-SMOKING PROPERTY indoors and in certain outdoor areas. Ashtrays are provided at the designated smoking area outside on your patio or terrace. Guests will be held liable for damages if they smoke in the room.

6.    We do not accommodate children under 18 years of age.

7.    A maximum occupancy of 2 Guests per room.
